Frequently Asked Questions

Here we’ve gathered answers to common questions about bookings, bikes, accessories, and anything else you might wonder about before renting from us.

Can anyone ride a cargo bike?

Yes, riding a cargo bike is easier than a regular bike but it feels different. The cargo bike has two wheels in front and steering is done without leaning to compensate. Hold the handlebars loosely, use small movements, and counterbalance when turning. Keep your speed low in corners.

Are there car parking options?

Yes, there are parking facilities near the pickup locations.

Is there a map available?

For a more guided experience, you can add a map to your booking. The map costs 90 SEK and includes eight half-day or full-day routes featuring coastal villages, leafy forests, and open landscapes. See the included routes here.

Any instructions or tips before the ride?

  • Start the motor located at the back of the handlebar unit.

  • The bike has hand brakes on both front and rear wheels, no foot brake.

  • The motor stops assisting when you brake.

  • Use the + and – buttons to control the motor gear. We recommend using gear 1 unless you are riding uphill.

  • The right handlebar controls a manual 1-7 gear shift. We recommend using gears 5-7 when the motor is running.

  • Hold the handlebars loosely and steer gently.

  • Reduce speed when taking corners and avoid sharp turns.

  • Use body weight to counterbalance when turning.

  • The saddle height is adjusted with a quick-release lever.

  • All cycling is at your own risk.

  • The renter is fully responsible for the bike during the rental period.
